Ekranglangan darvozali o'rmakli MOSFET (SGT-MOSFET) kuchli qurilmasi an'anaviy o'rmakli MOSFET (U-MOSFET) ning takomillashtirilgan versiyasidir. Polikremniy maydon plastinkasini joriy etish orqali u Millerni sig'imi (Cgd) ni sezilarli darajada kamaytiradi. Shuningdek, u qalin oksid qatlamining zaryad induktsiya effektidan foydalanib, an'anaviy o'rmakli MOSFETlarda vertikal bo'shatilish (p-jism/n-epi birikmasi) ustiga gorizontal bo'shatilishni kiritadi. Bu chuqur o'rmakning pastki qismida yangi elektr maydon cho'qqisini hosil qiladi, bu esa siljish sohasidagi elektr maydon taqsimotini uchburchak shakldan taxminan to'rtburchak shaklga o'zgartiradi. Natijada, siljish sohasi qarshiligi pasayadi va bir xil uzilish kuchlanishini saqlab turadi, bu esa qurilmaning xos o'zgaruvchan qarshiligini sezilarli darajada kamaytiradi.

SGT MOSFET seriyasi optimallashtirilgan o'rmakli ekranglangan darvozali dizayn va ishlab chiqarish texnologiyasiga ega bo'lib, past darvoza zaryadi va tez, yumshoq teskari tiklanish xususiyatlarini ta'minlaydi.
