Introduction

Overview

The CM2322 is an 18-bit successive approximation analog-to-digital converter (ADC) powered by a single supply. It integrates a low-power, high-speed, 18-bit sampling ADC and a multifunctional serial interface. On the rising edge of the CNV, the CM2322 samples the voltage difference between the IN+ and IN- pins, where the signals on both input pins are typically out of phase, with the voltage swing ranging from 0V to VREF. The reference voltage VREF is provided externally and can be set independently of the supply voltage VDD. Its power consumption increases in direct proportion to the sampling rate.

Using the SPI interface's SDI input pin, multiple ADCs can be connected in a daisy chain configuration, providing an optional busy indicator. The chip is compatible with 1.8V, 2.5V, 3V, and 5V logic through an independent power supply, VIO.

The CM2322 is available in MSOP10 and DFN10 packages, with an optimal operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
