Overview
The CM614X is a low-dropout voltage regulator designed for fast transient response.
This regulator can deliver 1.5A output current with a dropout voltage of 280mV. The quiescent current is as low as 1.5mA during operation and drops to less than 1μA in shutdown mode. The CM614X also features low output noise, making it highly suitable for noise-sensitive RF power applications.
The CM614X provides fixed output voltages of 1.5V (CM6140), 1.8V (CM6141), 2.5V (CM6142), 3.3V (CM6143), and an adjustable output voltage range of 1.21V to 20V (CM6149). The CM614X remains stable with an output capacitor as low as 10μF.
The CM614X integrates multiple circuit protection features, including current limiting and thermal shutdown. It is offered in SOP8, SOT223-3, TSSOP16, and TO252-5 packages, with an optimal operating temperature range of –40°C to 125°C.
