Overview
The CM2219 is a 16-bit, 8-channel SAR ADC powered by a single supply.
It integrates all the circuitry required for a low-power, multi-channel data acquisition system, including: a true 16-bit SAR ADC with no missing codes, an 8-channel low crosstalk multiplexer, an internal 4.096V low drift reference voltage source and buffer, a temperature sensor, an optional single-pole filter, and a multi-channel sequencer.
The CM2219 uses the SPI interface for writing configuration registers and receiving conversion results. It employs a separate power supply (VIO) for the SPI interface, and its power consumption is proportional to the sampling rate.
The CM2219 comes in QFN20 and WLCSP20 packages and operates over an optimal temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.

Solution Overview
The CM2219 is a 16-bit, 8-channel, charge redistribution SAR ADC with a maximum conversion rate of 500kSPS. Between conversions, the chip is in a shutdown state. When using an external reference source and operating at a 100SPS rate, the typical power consumption is 3.5μW.

The CM2219 provides an on-chip sample-and-hold circuit for the user with no pipeline delay.
The operating voltage range of the CM2219 is 4.5V to 5.5V, and it can be interfaced with any 1.8V to 5V digital logic interface.
