Overview
The CM2209 is a 16-bit, 8-channel SAR ADC powered by a single supply.
It integrates all the circuitry required for a low-power, multi-channel data acquisition system, including: a true 16-bit SAR ADC with no missing codes, an 8-channel low crosstalk multiplexer, an internal 4.096V low drift reference voltage source and buffer, a temperature sensor, an optional single-pole filter, and a multi-channel sequencer.
The CM2209 uses the SPI interface for writing configuration registers and receiving conversion results. It employs a separate power supply (VIO) for the SPI interface, and its power consumption is proportional to the sampling rate.
The CM2209 comes in QFN20 and WLCSP20 packages and operates over an optimal temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.

CM2209 is equipped with all the necessary circuits for a multi-channel, low-power data acquisition system, including a true 16 bit SAR ADC without loss of code, an 8-channel low crosstalk multiplexer, an internal 4.096V low-temperature drift reference voltage source and buffer, a temperature sensor, an optional single pole filter, and a multi-channel sequencer.
CM2209 uses SPI interface to write configuration registers and receive conversion results. The SPI interface is powered by an independent power supply VIO, and its power consumption is proportional to the throughput rate.
CM2209, as an alternative to ADS1115, is widely used in precision instruments and displays its excellent data acquisition performance.
