Overview
The CM4226 is a programmable-gain, high-performance, bipolar instrumentation amplifier that delivers industry-leading CMRR over a wide frequency range. Traditional instrumentation amplifiers exhibit CMRR degradation at hundreds of Hertz, while the CM4226 maintains a high CMRR of over 80dB at gains of 1 within a 10kHz bandwidth. Its exceptional CMRR enables suppression of broadband interference and harmonics, significantly simplifying filter requirements.
With low offset voltage, low offset drift, low gain drift, high gain accuracy, and high CMRR, this chip is ideal for applications demanding optimal DC performance, such as bridge signal conditioning.
The programmable gain offers design flexibility; a single external resistor sets the gain from 1 to 1000. The CM4226 operates with single or dual power supplies and supports input voltages up to ±10V.
The CM4226 is available in SOP8 and MSOP8 packages, with an optimal operating temperature range of −40°C to 85°C. It remains functional from 85°C to 125°C with only minor performance degradation.
